Self-medication During Pregnancy and the Occurrence of Orthopedic Problems in the Fetus<\/h3>\n

The Scientific Secretary of the Seminar on Bone and Soft Tissue Regeneration in Orthopedics, pointing out that the arbitrary use of medication during pregnancy, especially in the first 3 months of pregnancy, can cause orthopedic problems in the fetus, said: \u201cBasically, the most common of these traumatic problems are joint arthritis and congenital lesions.\u201d
\nDr. Mehran Razavipour mentioned the most common diseases in the field of orthopedics as trauma due to traffic accidents, joint arthritis and congenital lesions that occur during the development of the baby and stating that the main orthopedic problems are trauma, he said: \u201cThe more we raise public culture, have stronger laws, more safety and better awareness, and prevent injuries and traumatic problems such as traffic accidents and accidents, the emptier hospital beds will be and our orthopedic colleagues will endure less work pressure.\u201d <\/div>\n

According to the Iranian Orthopedic Surgeons Association, Razavipour stated
\nthat a series of orthopedic diseases occur during the fetal period,
\nadding: \u201cMost congenital disorders occur in the 6th to 8th week of gestation and are caused by the use of drugs, women’s lack of knowledge of their pregnancy, and pregnant mothers’ exposure to radiation.\u201d He continued: \u201cIn the first 3 months, pregnant mothers should be careful about taking drugs and should not take drugs arbitrarily.\u201d
\nRegarding the seminar on bone and soft tissue reconstruction in orthopedics, Razavipour stated: \u201cThis seminar is for orthopedic specialists, general surgery, reconstructive and plastic surgery, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, orthotics and prosthetics experts, and operating room experts, and the latest scientific achievements in the field of orthopedics will be presented in this seminar.\u201d
\nHe added: “Our goal in holding this conference is to increase the awareness of colleagues regarding soft tissue and bone lesions in orthopedics and new methods for their treatment.”
