Self-medication During Pregnancy and the Occurrence of Orthopedic Problems in the Fetus

According to the Iranian Orthopedic Surgeons Association, Razavipour stated
that a series of orthopedic diseases occur during the fetal period,
adding: “Most congenital disorders occur in the 6th to 8th week of gestation and are caused by the use of drugs, women’s lack of knowledge of their pregnancy, and pregnant mothers’ exposure to radiation.” He continued: “In the first 3 months, pregnant mothers should be careful about taking drugs and should not take drugs arbitrarily.”
Regarding the seminar on bone and soft tissue reconstruction in orthopedics, Razavipour stated: “This seminar is for orthopedic specialists, general surgery, reconstructive and plastic surgery, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, orthotics and prosthetics experts, and operating room experts, and the latest scientific achievements in the field of orthopedics will be presented in this seminar.”
He added: “Our goal in holding this conference is to increase the awareness of colleagues regarding soft tissue and bone lesions in orthopedics and new methods for their treatment.”
The scientific secretary of the seminar on bone and soft tissue reconstruction in orthopedics said: “This seminar will be held on July 12 with the presence of experts and professors in this field at the Salardareh Hotel in Mazandaran.”
