International Day of Older Persons
10th of Mehr (Persian Calendar), October 1, has been designated by the United Nations as the “International Day of Older Persons”. “No to Age Discrimination” is the slogan that the United Nations Population Fund has chosen for International Day of Older Persons this year, emphasizing that reducing inequality and recognizing the constructive role of the elderly provides exceptional opportunities for development.
Today, the largest and fastest increase in the number of older people will occur in the developing countries, and, specifically, increased attention to the special needs and challenges facing older people will be needed.
In line with its social responsibility and support for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Bushehr Polymer Industrial Group decided to once again show its attention to material and spiritual support for the elderly by being present among them, as well as encouraging others to participate in these programs.
This day was a good opportunity for the experts of the Customer Relations Department of Panberes Company, representing all the personnel of the Bushehr Polymer Industrial Group, to attend the Kahrizak Nursing Home (Alborz Province) and deliver their message of friendship and affection by presenting them with flower branches, while presenting them with the cargo of gifts sent by the Group.
Hoping for the day when respect for the rights of the elderly is institutionalized as a moral and practical necessity.
